User Registration – Repeater Fields

This add-on allows to you enable seamless duplication of fields for efficient data entry. Ideal for collecting recurring information such as family members, qualifications, or other relevant details.

Installation #

  1. Firstly, you need to purchase the User Registration Premium Plan.
  2. After the successful purchase, you will get the plugin zip file under your WPEverest account page.
  3. Now, you can download the User Registration Pro plugin and Repeater Fields add-on from there.
  4. Through your WordPress Dashboard, visit Plugins -> Add New -> Upload and then choose the downloaded zip file, and then install and activate it.
  5. Now you are ready to use this add-on for your site.

Alternative Method:

  1. Once you have entered the User Registration Pro license on your site, go to User Registration > Dashboard > All Features.
  2. Search for the ‘Repeater Fields‘ add-on.
  3. Click on ‘Activate‘.

Setup and Configuration #

Once you have installed and activated the Repeater Fields add-on, follow the steps below.

  • Go to User Registration > Add New. Or, you can edit the existing forms.
  • In the Form Builder, you will see the option that says ‘Add Repeater Row‘.

Once you have added the repeater row, you can drag and drop fields from the available options to the row.

The default fields like username, email, first and last name, etc. and the fields like WYSIWYG, File Upload, and Payment Fields can't be used in the repeater row as they can't be duplicated. 

Update the form and you will be able to use the repeater row on the registration form.

Click on the ‘Add New’ option to add another row. To delete the extra row, click on the Remove button.

Repeater Row Options #

  • Repeater Label: Set the label to appear on the top of the repeater row.
  • Field Name: The meta key of the repeater row.
  • Add New Label: Name for the Add New button.
  • Remove Lable: Name for the Remove button.
  • Repeat Limit: Set the maximum number allowed for the preparation of the repeater row.
