To ensure compatibility with external plugins like BuddyPress and CRM platforms like Salesforce, this feature allows you to map user registration fields with external plugin fields directly within individual form settings.
To enable the feature, Go to User Registration > Form Settings > Extras > toggle the option Enable Form Field Mapping With External Fields.
Once you enable the external fields mapping option, you can choose to map fields to either the default usermeta table or an external table in the database.
If you choose the external table option, you’ll need to select the table and then choose the columns for the user ID, field key, and field value.
After that, select the user registration field from the dropdown and enter the external field meta key in the input box. You can easily add or remove fields from the mapping as needed.
