The Login Form menu is where you can configure all login-related settings for the User Registration & Membership plugin.
Accessing Login Options #
Configure your login settings through:
UserRegistration & Membership > All Forms > Login Form

Login Form Settings #
The Login Form tab has two tabs: Field Options and Form Settings.

Field Options #
The field options will show field-wise settings and, by default, will show the settings for the Username or Email field of the login form. Each field consists of all its settings, like label, placeholder, required messages, etc.
Let’s see all the field settings one by one.
Username or Email
This field consists of options to change the Label, Placeholder, Required Message, Invalid Username Message, and Invalid Email Message.

Password
This field consists of general options to change the Label, Placeholder, Required Message, and Invalid Password Message.

Remember me
Click on this field to show its settings. Field settings include:
- Enable Remember Me: Toggle if you want to add a “Remember Me” checkbox to the login form.
- Label: Update the Remember Me label with this field.

Lost Your Password
All your settings related to “Lost your password” are inside this field.
- Enable Password Reset Link: Toggle this option to add a “Lost your password?” link to your login form. When users click this link, they’ll be redirected to a password reset page where they can request a new password.
- Lost Password Page: This dropdown appears only when “Enable Lost Password” is turned on. Select the page where users will be taken to reset their password. This should be a page containing the
[user_registration_lost_password]shortcode.
If you're having issue with your lost password page, you can create a new page and use the shortcode
[user_registration_lost_password]

Login Button
Change the login button text from this fields field option.

Register now
- Registration URL: Specify the page URL where new users can register accounts. It’s the exact page where users will be redirected to when they click on the text “Not a member yet? Register now.” in the login form.
- Registration URL label: This option lets you choose the text to appear in the login form, which, on click, redirects to the registration URL set above. The default label is ‘Not a member yet? Register now.’

Form Settings #
The Form Settings are divided into two tabs: General and Advanced. These tabs organize settings based on their functionality and impact on the login forms.
General

The General settings tab consists of the following settings:
Form Style There are five different templates available to choose from for the login form: default, bordered, flat, rounded, and rounded edge. This option is all about the styling of your login form.
Login Methods: This option lets you choose a username/email or both to be used while logging in.
While using this option, please do not forget to modify the Frontend Message accordingly.
Enable Login Title: If you enable this option, a message will appear at the top of the login form as “Welcome! Please enter your details to access your account”.
Show Login Icons: This feature adds an icon to the field, as shown below. Pro
Prevent Concurrent Login: Restricts simultaneous logins from the same IP address to prevent account sharing.
Enable Redirect Back to Previous Page: As the name suggests, this option redirects users to the previous page after logging in. Pro
Enable Passwordless Login: This option adds a passwordless login button to the login form, as shown below. When you click the button, you’ll be redirected to a screen where you can log in without a password. A login link will be sent to the user’s email. Pro

When you click on the Passwordless login button, a screen will appear where you can enter your Username or Email, as shown below:

Set Passwordless Login as Default: This option will display the Passwordless Login page as the default login page. Pro
Note: You will need to enable the Passwordless Login option to enable this option.
Advanced

Enable Ajax Login: This option lets you display the error message on the login form immediately without loading the page.
Hide Field Labels: Toggle to show or hide form field labels.
Enable Captcha: Check this option if you want to enable Google reCaptcha on your login form.
Disable Default WordPress Login Screen: Enable to prevent the default WordPress login and show the User Registration login form.
Redirect Default WordPress Login URL: Select the User Registration My Account page, and the users will be redirected to this form when they try to access the WordPress default login page. You can also select any of the pages that you want to redirect to.
Account Pending Approval Message: This is the message shown to your users when their account is pending approval, set from the registration form setting, like admin approval/(auto/admin) approval after email confirmation.
Note: This message is not shown to users with their account pending payment approval from admin.
Account Denied Message: Inform users that their account has been denied using this message
